He is a detribalized gentleman who speaks the two Nigerian Languages fluently & thus understands, accommodates & appreciates any Nigerian but never compromises principles.
His rise has been steady; He has a blissful beginning from 1980’s. His parent, Dr. Rufus Ileyemi & Mrs. Keji (Nee Olaleye) is a charming & loving mother, a prayerful woman. He is blessed with a wife Bukky & 4 Children Oluwakorede, Inioluwa, Oluwakemisola & Oluwakayode.
Dayo Ileyemi formative years was at St. Georges Catholic Primary School, Ile-Oluji (1988 - 1994), Orere Grammar School, Ile-Oluji 1994 - 2000), and Ondo State Polytechnic, Owo, now Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo for National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (Structural Engineering as His option) and Federal University of Technology, Akure in Ondo State (FUTA) for Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Civil Engineering Technology. He worked in Maiduguri, Borno State during his NYSC program in Aluminium Intergrated Resources Company Limited. He also worked as Site Engineer at Ledak Construction Limited before migrated to Bwaks Consultant Limited, Kornerstone Venture Construction Limited, RTD Construction Limited and now Self employed at Dazton Consultant.
Charles carried out his student’s industrial work experience scheme program at Vita Construction Limited, Orile-Iganmu, Lagos State and his industrial training (IT) at this same company in Lagos State. He was one of the candidates that sat for Junior Engineering Technicians (JET) competition in the year 2000 in Ondo State (the Sunshine State).
In politics, he is not a new wine in old bottle. He participated actively in campus politics and was elected Social Director & Executive President 2003/04, 2006/07 of National Union of Ile-Oluji Students (NUIS) polytechnic Owo chapter respectively. His name attained a substantial measure of popularity in his secondary school, where he served as the Senior Prefect 1999/2000, Time Keeper 1998/99 and class captain for several years.
He is a Christian and a member of Association of Civil Engineering Students (ACES), National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPES) and Nigeria Red Cross Society, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria Chapter.
